Devorah is a talented pianist, composer, athlete, lawyer, and single mother of three. In 2023, after a seventeen-year career as a lawyer, she stepped down from her position due to her declining medical condition, undergoing five surgeries between 2022 and 2024. That period of healing and reflection brought her back to her first love: the piano. “From the Depths” was born out of this renewal, carrying with it the sincerity of her spiritual journey and her desire to uplift others through music.
Each of the compositions — five tracks on each CD — reflects Devorah’s sincere emotions and the outpouring of her soul to G-d during pivotal moments in life. The titles of each piece in the album convey not only some aspects of the composition’s mood but also Devorah’s overall personality, faith, inner strength, and creative vision.
