Lambda and Nebius join as initial partners of the WWT program to enable clients access to scalable, high-compute capabilities for enterprise AI
Today, World Wide Technology (WWT), a global technology solutions provider, introduced its GPU Cloud Partner Program, the industry’s first-of-its-kind initiative to help organizations select the right partners to meet their diverse AI workload demands, particularly through scalable, consumption-based service models. Two of the market’s leading GPU cloud and cloud AI infrastructure providers, Lambda and Nebius, are the first to join the initiative, with WWT leveraging its deep, multi-OEM expertise and AI leadership to counsel clients in choosing the best solutions for their unique and growing enterprise AI needs.
According to Gartner, much of the current on-premises data center infrastructure is not AI (specifically GenAI) workload-capable and/or optimized, and AI hybrid solutions address this requirement. Considerations such as how to support GPUs and having access to data centers with updated capabilities, including for power and cooling, are essential to successfully supporting AI workloads. As a result, organizations are turning to alternative solutions, including GPU Cloud and cloud AI infrastructure, also known as GPU-as-a-Service, for on-demand GPU access in the cloud to obtain the necessary computational power without the need for expensive hardware or complex infrastructure management. By partnering with leading GPU cloud and cloud AI infrastructure providers, WWT ensures clients have multiple pathways to implement their AI strategies while maintaining flexibility and control over their computing resources.
“The launch of our GPU Cloud Partner Program marks a pivotal moment in enterprise AI acceleration,” said Chris Campbell, Senior Director of AI Solutions – AIaaS/GPUaaS, Facilities & Infrastructure, World Wide Technology. “This strategic alliance with industry powerhouses Lambda and Nebius will allow us to deliver solutions that empower our clients to move quickly on their advanced AI projects while also creating efficiencies in their data center strategies and maximizing investment as AI demand grows rapidly.”
Key Program Benefits
- Rapid Deployment: Eliminate lengthy procurement cycles, infrastructure setup times and technical debt with greater flexibility and sufficient, secure computer power to support the demands of high-performance hardware.
- Cost Optimization: Easily access high-compute capabilities and eliminate the need for upfront investment in accelerated compute facilities. According to Gartner, through 2028, at least 50% of GenAI projects will overrun their budgeted costs due to poor architectural choices and lack of operational know-how, underscoring the value of a GPU Cloud and cloud AI infrastructure solution.
- Scalability: Dynamic resource allocation and on-demand infrastructure to enable flexibility when AI workloads require more resources. Typical GPU Cloud and cloud AI infrastructure use cases include financial modeling, scientific simulations, large-scale data processing and machine learning for training of intricate models on extensive datasets.
- Expert Support: Access to specialized AI infrastructure expertise from certified partners and WWT counselors.
What the Partners are Saying
- “The GPU Cloud Partner Program comes at a pivotal moment as breakthroughs in superintelligence reshape what's possible for enterprise AI,” said Marisa Walton, Director of Channel & Alliances at Lambda. “With over a decade of experience working on powering the world’s leading AI labs and enterprises, we’re helping WWT's clients navigate their full AI journey – from initial experiments to production deployments that serve millions of users daily.”
- “Nebius is engineered for sustained performance at scale. Our vertically integrated architecture removes the bottlenecks that slow multi-node training and inference, delivering consistent throughput for the most demanding AI workloads,” said Laurelle Roseman, VP of Global Partnerships at Nebius. “By partnering with WWT, we’re helping enterprises building production-grade AI systems access the same purpose-built AI infrastructure trusted by teams training frontier-scale models.”
WWT will provide additional details about the GPU Cloud Partner Program during SC25, taking place Nov. 16-21 in WWT’s headquarters city, St. Louis, Mo. Attendees can visit WWT at booth #2932.
