Developed with insight from retired U.S. Air Force Lt Gen Gina M. Grosso—the first woman to serve as the Air Force’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Manpower, Personnel and Services—the program supports veterans in applying their leadership and resilience to technology.

“Veterans have a unique ability to lead through uncertainty and bring structure to complex challenges,” said Lt Gen Gina M. Grosso (USAF Ret.). “Ro& Heroes recognizes that those same qualities—discipline, resilience, and a sense of duty—are exactly what the technology sector needs as it learns to serve society responsibly.”

The initiative offers two paths within the Ro& ecosystem:

Veteran Partners — participants who complete the Ro& Platform’s structured training can deploy it across safety, protective-services, or resilience applications.

Veteran Affiliates — advocates who connect organizations and communities to the Ro& Platform while earning verified referral commissions.

“Ro& Heroes is about more than opportunity,” said Roanne Monte, Founder and CEO of Ro& Global and a 9/11 survivor. “It’s about building new missions around safety, integrity, and the responsible use of AI. Veterans’ experience under pressure gives the Ro& Platform a human dimension algorithms alone can’t replicate.”

The pilot phase begins this quarter, with the first training cohort scheduled for February 2026. Expressions of interest open later this month at https://roand.ai/.
